Oh Shit – Emergency Fund to the Rescue, Again

Holy shit! It’s been a week since I wrecked Blu, and I’m still reeling. Motor Trike wrecks SUCK. Any wreck sucks. I have had too many, and the last one was last Friday.

Me and my passenger were lucky, VERY lucky.

Still don’t know how it happened. BOOOM! Bouncing off of a car, bouncing face first down the road.  Yeah, I look like shit. Had to have some of my skull/bone put back in place.

Me, Loading into the “Box.”

Luckily my passenger didn’t have to have “Face Work.” No, her injuries were limited to a few abraisions and fractures.

We are both lucky to be alive.

My life changed last Friday. It’s never going to be the same.

So, what does this have to do with Money?

Well, I am now going to have a BUNCH of expenses. Know what? I’m not worried about them. I have money in the bank to cover what insurance will not.

I’d rather spend the money on other stuff, but I’m glad that I am where I am.

Money. When you have enough, it takes a lot of pressure off events like mine.

Emergency Fund, build one.

Until next time, Peace!

Gonna get my “Heal On.”
