Money I$ Not Taboo Remodel in the Works

Like the picture above, Money I$ Not Taboo needs to be remodeled.

Morning Money Buddies!!!

Well, it’s morning here in Texas; 12:52 as I type this sentence. Yeah, once again I’ve bolted awake, again with the urge to to work on Money I$ Not Taboo.

Since it’s inception, in late 2016, I’ve pieced MinT together without a clear idea in mind. Is MinT a blog, or a Resource Center? Well, it’s been kind of both, with a focus on the MinT blog.

The landing, or home page, was a collection of stuff. A bit of this, a bit of that, with the resource links buried at the bottom of the page. Oh, I had started other pages with resources, but I didn’t have a clear idea of how I wanted things, or what I wanted MinT to actually be.

Since mid May of 2018, I’ve had very little to do with MinT, leaving Courtney to keep things going when my life derailed and I worked to get it back on track. After 4 moves, with me now in a stable relationship and in a permanent home, and with renewed ambition, I’ve taken a look at MinT and decided that I had to change it for the better.

So, what’s in the works for MinT? Here’s my vague game plan, as of these wee hours of the morning.

MinT is going to become a “Clearing House” for financial resources, such as:

  • Blogs
  • PodCasts
  • VidCasts
  • Apps
  • Online Banking Options
  • Anything else that Courtney and I find that will benefit folks in building their Financial Literacy

How is this going to be done?

The front page will no longer be cluttered with stuff, but instead it will have a little of my verbiage and at least 10, regularly update, useful financial resources listed that we have discovered.

With the help of Courtney, and hopefully others, I’m going to build a Righteous Resource List of all the useful financial resources that we can find, making it available for folks, so that they can locate useful gems at a glance.

I’m going to look at MinT’s page structure and try to utilize it in a more efficient manner.

That’s what I’ve got in mind right now.

As for the Resource List, if you have one that you would like included in the MinT Righteous Resource list, reach out to us and give us a heads up. We may find it on our own, but it will speed things up if you point us in the right direction.

I’d rather be a hand-fed hog, than a blind hog looking for acorns.

So, for now, it’s time for me to get back to sleep.

I’ll get back to work on MinT later today.

Until next time, Peace!

Keith
